About Terry:
Terry Sayre and her late husband, Richard, have five children. She now has twenty-one grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. It is her commitment to family, to so many people, and her passions that drive Terry to work tirelessly at solving problems as they arise in her community and advocating for all people within her sphere of influence. A fellow City council member said, "it did not take long to recognize her commitment and dedication to virtually every worthwhile cause in our community."
Terry is passionate about education and helping others to realize their genius. She taught school for over 30 years. She is ultimately a lifelong teacher and learner. Terry is now a Fearless Living Certified Life and Leadership Coach, sharing her wisdom and experience to assist others live the life they were created to live. A friend of Terry's said, "So many people have benefited from working with Terry as a life coach because she continually wants to see people grow and change."Working with her daughter, Kelly Fox, in their business, Fearless Generations, they offer workshops, retreats, a podcast, and speak at events and online. They are actively engaged on Social Media and in organizations that support women leaders and entrepreneurs.
By embracing courage, she has faced challenges and seen them as opportunities to learn and then to share that knowledge with others who face similar challenges. Her compassion for herself and others drives her to take action, showing understanding and empathy in order to change situations and serve as an agent for significant progress. As Mayor and as a mom and friend, her motto is "We are Stronger Together!" Collaboration brings out the best in individuals working together to solve problems and support.t change.
